The administration of the Karnplay Comprehensive Health Center is appealing to the government of Liberia to accommodate the institution with additional medical doctors as the health center experiences overcrowding of patients daily.

Speaking in an interview with the health center’s only medical doctor, Dr.Karwulo Gbenqein

begun by appreciating the Boakai-Koungs’s government for bringing young qualified people to serve in the district.

He added that his appointment to serve the district-only referral comprehensive center is a commendable one for him to be appreciative to the president.

“Let me use this medium to thank the people of Gbehley-Geh especially citizens of Karnplay City “.

He at the same time expressed challenges faced by the entity. According to Dr. Gbenqein, the Karnplay Comprehensive Center is the only health center in the region that receives referral patients from as far as the neighboring country Ivory Coast.

“Moreover, I am the only medical doctor here with a medical assistant including a few registered nurses”.

Dr. Gbenqein narrated that there are over 87, staff working at the entity with less than 25, being reminded by the government.

For his part, Dr.Gbenqein informed the public that the issues of drugs at the faciremairemain are one of the paramount cremains of the government, and the health center has sufficient drugs that will serve the institution for a time.
