An unknown person has allegedly cut off the tongue of a one-year child in Tienii Town, Grand Cape Mount County.
The incident occured on Friday, 12 July when it was reported that the tongue of a one (1) year 4 months old Jayah Seitua was reportedly tempered with.
During Afrik Media’s visit to the home of Lil Jayah, Madam Miatta Kromah, Mother of the victim narrated that on Friday, July 12, she and Jayah had gone to sleep during the afternoon hours of the day but she slept longer than Lil Jayah.
According to her, while she was still asleep, Jayah woke up and got out of the room.
After several minutes, she woke up and didn’t see him lying by her side as she expected. She got out of the house in search for Him.
After a long searched Jayah was found with a cut tongue in Teinii town.
The victim have been taken to Senje, Grand Cape Mount along with his mother to seek medical attention at the Senje Health center.
Police have launched an investigation in to the matters as the outcome is yet be published
