To All CDCians, Supporters, Members of Opposition Political Parties

Celebration of CDC Militant Day on Friday, June 28, 2024

I extend heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the Chairman, Secretary General and the entire Executive Committee of the Coalition for Democratic Change

for the planning and organization of the Militant Day program, which is intended to appreciate enthusiastic supporters of the party for their steadfastness and dedication over the years.

I am also grateful to Speaker of the House of Representatives and the Chair of the legislative Caucus of the CDC, as well as our many partisans and supporters who gathered on Friday in spite of the heavy rain to show their love and loyalty to our great party.

The CDC has been a way of life and a bastion of hope for thousands of Liberians who believe in our grassroots agenda. We cannot afford to let down their hopes and aspiration.

We therefore thank you for staying the course and for committing to continue striving for a better Liberia.

Your gathering in such large numbers, notwithstanding our absence from the country and the extremely terrible weather, demonstrates your love for the institution and yearning for an alternative agenda.

We shall be returning to Liberia soon, reinvigorated and rejuvenated to continue fighting for a better country.

Let me also thank other political party leaders for their presence at the program. The CDC thanks you for the show of opposition solidarity and urges all who believe in a united and indivisible country to continue to collaborate in the interest of our people.

May I also seize this opportunity to thank all Liberians who continue to strive for peace and prosperity in our dear country.

    God Bless You All!

    H. E. GEORGE MANNEH WEAH

Former President of the Republic of Liberia &

Political Leader – Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC).
