Boy’s Town Intersection in Liberia was the scene of a tragic accident that claimed lives and left families shattered. Among the survivors is Naomi Vah, a woman who narrowly escaped death but lost her four-month-old daughter in the wreckage. Now, she shares her painful yet faith-filled testimony of survival, loss, and hope.

On that fateful day, Naomi had just attended Sunday service. After church, she decided to visit her big sister, Hannah one of the survivors who is receiving medical treatment at the hospital. Two them decide to pay visit to the family of their late brother, who had been sick for a long time before passing away. Along with four other family members, they got into a car commonly called a “Texas.”

While sitting in the car, Naomi was breastfeeding her four-month-old daughter. Her relatives were beside her, unaware that tragedy was moments away. Suddenly, she saw a large truck coming toward them at full speed. There was no time to escape.

As the truck crashed into their vehicle, Naomi desperately tried to save her daughter. But in the chaos, a man named Darius fell onto her hand, preventing her from moving. Trapped under the massive truck, she screamed for help. The weight of the accident was not only physical but emotional.

“I tried to save my four-month-old daughter, but I couldn’t. I called for help, but there was no way to free myself,” Naomi recalled in tears.

As she fought for survival, she felt the gas tank of the car hanging dangerously over her and her sister. Fear gripped her, but she held on to faith, believing that God was with her.

Rescuers arrived with a saw to cut through the wreckage. Naomi lifted her hand, and at that moment, her daughter took her last breath. A mother’s worst nightmare had come true she lost her baby right before her eyes.

But in the midst of the tragedy, Naomi found the strength to help her sister, Hannah, breathe. Despite her own pain, she focused on saving her sibling. “God saved us from this terrible accident,” she said, holding on to the belief that there was a purpose behind her survival.

Naomi’s body and heart are broken, but her faith remains strong. “I have cried and cried with pain, but God saved us. God kept us for a purpose,” she testified. “The God that we serve is a real God. He can heal a broken soul. Even after such a terrible incident, God has given us a second chance.”

Determined to use this second chance wisely, Naomi vows to share her story with ministries, people, and the world. She wants others to know the power of God and how He can bring hope even in the darkest moments.

As she continues to recover, Naomi expresses deep gratitude for her pastor, Minister William S. Freeman, who has been supporting her with food and medical needs. However, she still needs help. She calls on citizens, government officials, and kind-hearted individuals to assist her in her healing process.

With faith as her foundation and the love of her pastor, family, and community, Naomi is on the path to physical and emotional recovery. She believes that through God’s grace, she will rise again and turn her pain into a powerful testimony for the world to hear.
